How to choose which law school to go to?

To seek admission to the top National Law Universities in India (NLUs), one must pass entrance tests such as the CLAT. Some NLUs have a very restricted number of seats, obviously, all law aspirants are unable to get through it. There is no need to be concerned because there are many top-tier private universities and excellent government law schools where you can study law.

But the moot point is whether all the law colleges are equally good. The obvious answer is no. Every day in the run-up to the admissions season, a new law school advertisement appears.

• The fifth way is finding a work-life balance is critical while selecting a law school. Arts and culture festivals, sports complexes, and other similar events will result in a positive legal professional.
• Finally, ‘law’ is viewed as the result of an interdisciplinary discourse involving the arts, humanities, science, and management. It has the extra benefit of being placed in a multi-disciplinary institution.

Also, some basic factors need to be considered before getting into any law college:

1. Fee structure of the college
2. Previous years placement
3. Is it close to where you find yourself practising?
4. Moot Court structure
5. Hostel facilities and ambience of the college
